Our Approach
At JSD our approach to the creative process remains the same.
We co-create intuitively by using age-old philosophy that first addresses the energetic flow of a space. We then bring to life a design aesthetic that clients, along with their family and guests will love and appreciate being in.

Co-Creative
We collaborate with our clients to develop a plan that resonates with them. This ensures that together we are creating a space that aligns with their truest needs & desires.
Intuitive
Understanding our intuitive language helps us to discern what is best for our life and our highest purpose. For it is the art of intuition that is at the forefront of any creative process. In addition to providing our intuitive guidance, we also assist clients in trusting theirs. We have found that this is the key to a successful, collaborative project.
Intentional
Taking inspiration from nature and the five elements, we intentionally source and integrate items, objects, and art that support & nurture the clients aspirations and goals.

About Sara
Sara Kostelnik is the founder and principal designer at Jade Scott Design, located in Pittsburgh, PA. While she enjoys creating spaces for clients of varying design styles, her best work is showcased when empowering clients to make bold, intentional design choices that support and nurture the mind, body, & home.
Emerging through the weight of the 2020 global pandemic and her own spiritual development, Sara noted how essential the energy of our home is in supporting our healing and overall well-being. By applying the principles of Feng Shui, intuition, and nature’s elements, Sara and her clients co-create spaces of balance and beauty.
“By teaching clients how to tap into their intuition, I believe it brings them to a deeper level of understanding and clarity to the way they live, how their spaces can support their individual journeys, and how they have the power to transform their own lives through the lens of their home. When we are in the flow with nature and the energy of our spaces, we begin to make more impactful, conscious changes in our lives.”
